Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken

This recipe is insanely easy to throw in the slow cooker and have a juicy and flavorful source of protein that can easily be used for salads, bowls, tacos, wraps and more!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Chicken Breast
  • 2 cups Salsa
  • 1 Tbs Cumin
  • 1 Tbs Chili Powder

Instructions

  • Place chicken breasts in slow cooker and top with salsa and spices. Use tongs to mix and cover chicken with salsa and spices.
  • Cook on low in slow cooker for 3-4 hours.
  • Check to be sure chicken has reached internal temperature of 165F. Then use two forks or culinary claws to shred chicken.
  • Enjoy shredded chicken on top of brown rice, cauliflower rice, salad or in wraps or tacos!
