Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

This recipe is so simple to throw in the slow cooker with a few flavorful ingredients to make a delicious shredded pulled pork with such little effort! Perfect protein to add to burrito bowls, tacos, salads, sandwiches and more!

Ingredients

  • 4 pounds Pork Shoulder
  • 1 cup Broth I used chicken broth but you can use vegetable broth or any other kind!
  • 2 tablespoons Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 Yellow Onion diced
  • 4 Garlic Cloves chopped
  • 1 Orange peeled & sliced

Instructions

  • Place the pork shoulder, diced onion, garlic and orange slices in your slow cooker.
  • In a separate bowl (or liquid measuring cup), mix the broth and all of the spices together.
  • Pour the broth and spice mixture generously around the entire pork shoulder.
  • Turn your slow cooker to low and cook for 8 hours.
  • Once your pork is fully cooked (to at least 145F) remove it from the slow cooker to a plate or cutting board and use two forks to shred the pork.
  • Enjoy on tacos, burrito bowls, salads & more!
