Tasty Tofu Tacos
These tasty tofu tacos sure deserve to be on the menu for your next Taco Tuesday or Meatless Monday night! Once seasoned and mashed into crumbles, the extra-firm tofu looks just like your ground meat and is a delicious plant-based option for taco night! Top your tacos with salsa & guac and you're bound to have a crowd pleasing dish!

Ingredients
- 1 Block 14 oz Extra Firm Tofu drained
- 3 Tablespoons Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
- ¼ cup Salsa
- 2 Teaspoons Chili Powder
- 2 Teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 2 Teaspoons Onion Powder
- 2 Teaspoons Cumin
- ½ Teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 dash Cayenne
- 12 small corn tortillas
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400ºF
- Use a meat masher or your hands to crumble the tofu into a medium bowl. Add the soy sauce, salsa, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, pepper, and cayenne and stir until well-combined.
- Spray a large baking sheet with non-stick spray. Transfer the tofu to the baking sheet, using a spatula to spread it out as much as possible in an even layer.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown and it starts to get crispy.
- Fill the tortillas with the tofu, lettuce, tomato, shredded cheese, guacamole and salsa.
- Enjoy!
Notes
Serving Size = 2 Tacos
- Serve with cauliflower rice, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, salsa, guacamole & even a dash of Sriracha (it you like it spicy!)
