The tomato paste and garlic along with the Italian spices does REALLY give you that Pizza taste you crave, but in hummus form!

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil Extra Virgin
  • ¼ cup Tomato Paste
  • 2 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 2 tsp Dried Basil
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 3 cups Canned Chickpeas 1/2 cup liquid reserved
  • ¼ cup Tahini
  • ¼ cup Lemon Juice
  • Salt To Taste
  • Pepper To Taste
  • Sliced Vegetables For Serving

Instructions

  • Drain & rinse chickpeas and add to food processor along with all other ingredients.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Remove hummus from food processor into serving dish.
  • Enjoy & serve with Veggies, Whole Grain Crackers or Whole Wheat Pita Bread
