Lemon Hummus
Your favorite creamy dip gets a citrus twist with the addition of lemon! This is a perfect appetizer, dip or spread that’s sure to be a crowd pleaser!
Servings 2 cups
Equipment
- 1 Food Processor
Ingredients
- 1 15 oz can Chickpeas drained
- 1/4 cup Tahini
- 1/4 cup Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 lemon juiced
- 2 Cloves Garlic
- 2 Tbs Lemon zest
- Sea Salt & Pepper to taste
- Sliced vegetables for serving
Instructions
- Blend chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice and garlic until smooth.
- Add salt and pepper to taste. And stir in 1 tablespoon of the lemon zest
- Remove hummus from food processor into serving dish.
- Top with remaining 1 Tablespoon of lemon zest.
- Enjoy & serve with Veggies, Whole Grain Crackers or Whole Wheat Pita Bread
