Lemon Hummus

Your favorite creamy dip gets a citrus twist with the addition of lemon! This is a perfect appetizer, dip or spread that’s sure to be a crowd pleaser!

Equipment

  • 1 Food Processor

Ingredients

  • 1 15 oz can Chickpeas drained
  • 1/4 cup Tahini
  • 1/4 cup Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 2 Cloves Garlic
  • 2 Tbs Lemon zest
  • Sea Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Sliced vegetables for serving

Instructions

  • Blend chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice and garlic until smooth.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste. And stir in 1 tablespoon of the lemon zest
  • Remove hummus from food processor into serving dish.
  • Top with remaining 1 Tablespoon of lemon zest.
  • Enjoy & serve with Veggies, Whole Grain Crackers or Whole Wheat Pita Bread
