Bell Pepper Pizzas

Turn a colorful Bell Pepper into a vessel for pizza toppings! The bell pepper becomes the crust for a lower carb and higher veggie option! Great way to disguise veggies as pizza and they are super easy to customize! Beware: they will be devoured!

Ingredients

  • 2 Bell Peppers pick your favorite color!
  • 1/2 cup Tomato Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Part-Skim Mozzarella Cheese
  • Desired pizza toppings Olives, Sliced Mushrooms, Pepperoni, Onions

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Slice the bell peppers in half, lengthwise. Remove the seeds and stem.
  • Cover baking sheet with foil or silicone baking mat; spray with cooking spray. Place peppers, cut sides up, on prepared baking sheet.
  • Fill bell pepper halve with 1/8 cup of sauce and 1/8 cup of cheese.
  • Top 2 peppers with your favorite pizza toppings like mushrooms, olives, onions, banana peppers or pepperoni.
  • Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until peppers are crisp-tender and cheese is melted.
  • Enjoy!
